Wood: Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified poplar wood is carefully selected, hand cut to shape and sanded smooth.

Paper: The hot pink paper is FSC certified and printed with a soy-based ink. The vivid turquoise eyes and little orange beak are from scraps of paper and delicately hand cut and adhered with non-toxic glue.

Soy based Stain: The feet are colored with a cocoa brown stain created from soybean oils.

Sealer: 3 coats of a non-toxic soy-based sealer for protection.
