About Us

In July of 2009, my 4 year old daughter came to me and asked me for a tutu. She had been obsessed with being a ballerina since she was old enough to walk. I searched online and was shocked to find the cost of custom made tutus and the ones in the store just didn't have that "something" I was looking for. I decided it would be fun to try to make one, so off we went to the fabric store. The first attempt was a success and when I saw the look on my daughter's face, I knew that I had done a good job.

I posted a bunch of pictures up on my Facebook account and immediately got a bunch of friends and family asking if I would consider making them one as well... less than a week later, my new website was up and I was selling my tutus, putting smiles on the faces of little girls everywhere.

Since then, I have met countless moms and dads that were trying to do the same thing I was - getting the word out about our products to the public. After teaming up with a couple of other people and offering their items on my site, I decided to change the site's focus to more of an online boutique (a one-stop shop) for cute stuff for kids (and some for Mommys and pets too). And so, waytutucute.com was born!

We are now a collaboration of Mommies and Daddies who are not only talented, but love what we create.
